DESIGN / MIDPOINT MUSIC FESTIVAL
As a relatively young designer working at Topic Design Group in 2009, I was tasked with rebranding Cincinnati's sprawling multi-venue Midpoint Music Festival. First and foremost we gave the festival a face, a face with one eye. Monty has served as MPMF's mascot since 2009, as has the transit inspired Helvetica lockup. I worked officially on 2009 and 2010's iteration of the festival, and in 2012 and 2013 I documented the weekend as a part of the Queen City Project, creating documentary videos that sum up the frenetic energy of a Midpoint weekend.
