The game-day environment in Berkeley and, more specifically, Memorial Stadium last week was incredible. I can't imagine a more picturesque setting to enjoy a fall show-down between two classic Land-Grant institutions. Here are a few of my favorite shots I took during the game that captured the atmosphere surrounding the matchup. If you want to see photos of football players, I got plenty of those too, you can view the full set over on Elevenwarriors.com.
Last week, I flew out to California to shoot the OSU/Cal game for 11W. Naturally, I made a long weekend of it, saw some friends, walked up a lot of steep hills and had a grand old time. Here are some photos from the trip. You can see the full set from the game over at Elevenwarriors.com
Last week, we launched a new site for Land-Grant on the back of some big news. The brewery now has an official location. We thought it would only be appropriate to complement that new physical address with a virtual one. Landgrantbrewing.com is now live in all of it's responsive glory. There you can find info on the beer, the brewery-to-be, and a blog documenting the whole process.
I was lucky enough to attend the Buckeye's first practice of the year on Eleven Warriors' behalf. And got this shot of freshman linebacker Mike Mitchell, Fall can't come fast enough.
Last week I travelled out to the Pacific Northwest to visit my sister in Portland. Came away very impressed with Portland proper and all the incredible stuff surrounding the city. We hit up wine country, the coast, went hiking, visited some breweries, etc. etc. Good times, and an easy place take photos of. You can dig more over on my Flickr.

Pretty pleased with the way these Hatch Show Print inspired posters for the First Annual 4th of July BBQ at Tom Colicchio's Riverpark. If you're in New York for the holiday, I recommend checking it out.
Snapped en-route to "scoring" these bad boys for the Land-Grant tasting room.
More Low Country snaps right here.
For my first week on the loose, I've holed up at Grandman's South Carolina Headquarters way out on Seabrook Island near Charleston. Productivity is at an all-time high, but every now and again, I take a break to enjoy the low-country's lazy scenery.
“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them.” - George Bernard Shaw
As of today – May 25th 2013 5pm – I'm a free agent. Let's collaborate.
Back in New York, this time for my rad sister Claire's birthday. This was a family affair, and we made our way up and down and all over Manhattan. You can view the full set of photos over on my Flickr page.
I attended Cincinnati's 3rd Creative Mornings talk this morning, and it featured the super talented Chris Glass. He shared some very inspiring words about making a go of it in the creative world. Words that really hit home for me and my near future. More on that next week.
CM is an amazing resource for Cincinnati and Ohio, and I'm proud to have played some small role in bringing it to town (I shot some of the Cincinnati beauty shots in the above video). If you haven't been to one already, be sure to check out next month's, which I believe is back at the 21C, coffee's free
I'm a huge fan of tacos, braised meat, guacamole and pretty much everything else that comes along with Mexican inspired food. So when Django Western Taco asked me to design and build their website, it was a no-brainer. Then when they had me come in and photograph (and sample) their killer Tex-Mex, it only sweetened (spiced?) the deal.
We developed a simple one-page responsive site that puts the imagery and info up front. Next time you're in Northside, I highly recommend the Sheriff's Stone Bowl.
Pretty nice morning here atop OTR
Our houseguest, watching the snow come down.
Some additional, non-Ann Hamilton photos I took on our recent jaunt to New York.
Wife and I spent the New Year in New York, visiting some old pals. The highlight of the trip was seeing Ann Hamilton's installation at the Park Avenue Armory. It was a breathtaking piece that pulled you out of the Upper East Side and deposited you elsewhere. It ends this week, but if you're in New York and have time, by all means go see this.
